Universal Artists in Florence
At the beginning of this year I travelled to the beautiful city of Florence in Italy, where I was honoured amongst incredible artists from around this globe with the 1° International Prize LEONARDO DA VINCI - THE UNIVERSAL ARTIST.
It was a very beautiful and way too short experience, meeting incredible people that create not only amazing pieces of art, but also share their beautiful minds and hearts with everything they touch. Therefore I am grateul to the curators Dott. Salvatore Russo and Dott. Francesco Saverio Russo not only for the prize and the beautiful awarding ceremony, but also for the opportunity to meet such creative and positive individuals, which makes receiving this award even more valuable.

The event also marks the beginning of a new contemporary art magazine - "ART INTERNATIONAL CONTEMPORARY MAGAZINE", with the first Issue of Jan/Feb 2016 dedicated to a very special artist, Frida Kahlo. For anyone looking for an up-to-date art magazine with new upcoming artists, interesting articles, interviews and much more, focusing on what is new in the world of art, look no further.
As mentioned, my trip was very short and I didn´t manage to capture more than a few moments in this beautiful city, but a little to remember by (starting with my beautiful morning view of the Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore or also known as Il Duomo di Firenze):
Piazza della Repubblica
Ponte Vecchio over the Arno River
Arno River with Ponte Santa Trinita
Even taken from a car - majestic: Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore (Il Duomo di Firenze)
